We would not be able to go anywhere if we didn't have PRoA to bring our dogs to. The staff there is wonderful, and I never worry about my two"girls" when they are in their care. We were away during the flood, and they were very good about keeping in contact with us to let us know our Airedales were safe and sound! I also give the highest marks to the groomer there, Annette--she is terrific. She makes our Airedales look like show dogs (which they're not ) when she is done with them. Our best to everyone at Pet Resorts of America.

I took my 11 year old terrier for her first professional grooming, and I think she loved the experience as much as I did. They did exactly what I wanted, and she came out beautiful and happy. I would highly recommend this service. Pets and owners will be happy.

Pet Resorts helps out our organization with low-cost boarding for dogs waiting to transport to rescue. We put Phoenix- a beautiful but terrified collie mix rescue- in Pet Resorts after his foster home fell through. Phoenix was so scared to go back to animal control, he laid down on the ground in the parking lot forcing us to drag him back in. I didn't have the heart to do it, so we put him in boarding at Pet Resorts. He was petrified when he first entered- refused to make eye contact, cowered in corners. We were worried it would hurt his chances for adoption! When we showed up 4 days later to take him to the dog park for an outing, he was clean, happy, and anxious to interact with us. He did fabulous with the other dogs and people at the park, and went back to his "room" willingly that afternoon. He clearly loved the staff there, and was adopted 2 weeks later completely well-behaved and well-adjusted. I don't know what they did in there, but they saved this sweet dog's life!

I have recently begun using pet resorts services for boarding and grooming my precious pooch. I have a two year old Goldendoodle and he can be very hard to handle//groom. After using countless other groomers and never getting a cut I was satisfied with, I decided to give pet resorts a shot, as I have heard many great things about them! I cannot say enough great things about this place. The kennels is so clean and smells great! Not to mention the large runs and special packages they offer! The employees always greet you with a smile and make me feel very comfortable leaving my baby. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to give a helping hand or word of advice. Annette, the groomer, is the best I have ever used! She is very knowledgeable as well and has a very special way with the animals. I gave her a description of what kind of cut I wanted, and she knew exactly what it was that I had in mind! When I came to pick him up, I was astounded at how beautiful he looked! I love pet resorts and will be using them for many years to come!

We just moved here from Pennsylvania and needed to find a good kennel and groomer for our two dogs. After having the dogs do a "test" stay at Pet Resorts and receive their first grooming, we cannot say enough good things about this place. Annette, the groomer, is the best we have ever dealt with, and the service, boarding facility and staff were wonderful. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone we know. Most cats really have a hard time when they have to adjust temporarily to staying in a different environment. The staff at Pet Resorts of America are so loving and take the time to play with and care for your cat. Every time, mine comes back home relaxed, non-traumatized and happy. Much happier than when I leave him with a pet sitter to check in on him twice a day in his own home--he just isn't left lonely at all in PR. A great investment. Doesn't get any better.

We have used Pet Resorts of America quite a bit. We tried a few other kennels around town and there are some nice ones, but they are $$$$$. Our pups always come out smelling good and happy. We have also used them with some rescue dogs. One that we have in there now was very scared and stinky. We had them bath him and I have to say, in the two weeks he's been in there, he has turned around completely. He smells good, he seems happy and he is getting along with other dogs VERY well. He used to snap at all male dogs. Now he plays well with all dogs. Anyway, if you try them, I think you'll like what you see.

We have been leaving our dogs at Pet Resorts of America for several years now. We went to Alaska and were gone for ten days, this was the longest we have ever left them. They really seem to enjoy the place. I know our yellow lab loves playing with other dogs so he must get really worn out with the "play time" they offer. They both smelled fresh and clean when we picked them up. They had the bath and nail trim. The staff was very friendly and caring when they brought them out to us when we picked them up to go home. We will go back!!

I'd like to apologize for arguing over a few dollars when I picked up Ginger. I didn't mean to be a pain. (A little of my mother came out in me...that's a scary thought!) It just seems that everyone wants your money and many companies intentionally misrepresent themselves to get every penny they can from you. And once you realize that you're not getting what you expected and were promised, you have to jump through hoops to get your money back.
 
In any case, I believe this was an honest mistake and I am happy to pay what I rightfully owe. I appreciate your willingness to please the customer; a trait uncommon in today's business world. I can tell Ginger was well taken care of and she looked great when I picked her up. That's really all that matters. Please accept my apology and the check for the balance due. I look forward to doing business with you again.

I recently boarded my elderly (22 yrs. old) dog and had a great experience with Pet Resorts. Due to her fragile condition, she requires special attention, and the staff was exceptional with her. We kept in contact frequently which eased my concerns. It was obvious they were genuinely interested and involved with my pet. The facility is impressive; very animal friendly. I only have positive accolades for the staff and facility.

I had never boarded my two dogs before. I just couldn't find any place that I felt comfortable leaving them. Everywhere else the cages looked so small. But at Pet Resorts of America the double cage with indoor and outdoor area looked big enough for my two (one medium sized and one large sized) dogs to be comfortable. I have boarded with Pet Resorts three times now.

The price is a little steep and the pickup charges for Sunday are a little extreme. Too bad it can't be a flat rate per hour charge or 24 hours is a day no matter what time or day the dogs are dropped off--that would make the place perfect!

I have been bringing my English Bulldogs (4 of them) to this place since I moved to Nashville years ago! They love the people there and ALWAYS seem happy to go there! The people that work in there really MAKE THIS PLACE and I always feel like I am taking them to a surrogate home and not "boarding them in a kennel." We find that they take great care of the dogs, feed them exactly what and how you ask, and are available for you to check in and make sure all is going well while you are gone! My groomer, Annette, works for Pet Resorts of America in Nashville, TN. Annette has been grooming my Cocker Spaniel, Boo, for about 2 years now and I wouldn't go to anyone else. As a matter of fact, I drive about 50 miles (round trip) so that Annette can groom him. There are dozens of groomers much closer, but I go to Annette because I can trust her with my beloved pet! Annette is a consummate professional. She is kind and loving to my pet, and knows the importance of providing a "positive experience" for my pet during the grooming process. Boo was a "rescue" from a bad situation before I adopted him. Annette understands his "history" and takes extra special care in working with him. She is kind and patient with him and I highly recommend her!  Barbara S.

Pet Resorts of America is a great place to take our dog! She is always excited to go and my husband and I feel good about leaving her there. She gets "pool time" and receives a bath and nail trimming prior to being picked up. It is a little pricey, so be prepared when the bill comes. Overall, a great place to take your pet!

I just wanted to take a moment and Thank Heather for Helping me on my last visit with Snowflake in August. I was running late to the airport so I called Heather to ask if she could go on-line and print my boarding pass for me so I wouldn't miss my plane.  Heather told me "no problem". It saved me so much time at the airport, I cannot tell you how much this helped me out! I really appreciate her being so kind and helpful.

I can tell a big difference when Snowflake stays at Pet Resorts of America. She comes home happy and I feel less guilty about leaving her while I am traveling on business. Heather treats snowflake as if she were her own Pet and that makes all the difference in the world to me. You have a great staff!

I would like to say that I never worry about Sandy when she is there. They are very good to her and I can tell because there is no stress in her face. The bath that they gave her this time, they took extra care of her to get all the loose fur off of her that makes her hot. If you are thinking of leaving your pet with Pet Resorts please don't ever think twice about it. They take care of them just as we would take care of company coming in our home. They are kind, loving and very thoughtful of our pets. I have left her 3 times now and I am sorry this is the only review I have left but, to make up for all the other times please understand this is our only child. If you trust anyone to keep your child while you are away this is the family to do so. Sandy is 11.5 years of age.  Again I would like to thank all who work at Pet Resorts for all they do for Sandy during her stay. She will stay many more times.

I recently contacted Pet Resorts to get training for my dog. I signed up for the training package which is outsourced to Nashville K9. A very professional and qualified trainer contacted me quickly and answered all my questions and promised I'd return to an obedient dog. I made the mistake with past trainers of going with the less experienced ones with no success. When people at the dog park comment on how well behave he is, I wish I could take credit but all credit is due to Ali at Nashville K9. It's so rewarding to have a well behaved dog!

After boarding our Border Collie “Molly” with Pet Resorts many times, I think I need to add a review. We travel out of town 4-5 times a year and have left Molly with you all several times. Every time we do, we can tell she absolutely love staying with you. When we pull into the parking lot, she gets so excited. We can hardly hold her back as she breaks into a sprint for the door. Every time we picked her up, she's clean and happy. She is well adjusted when we get home and doesn't seem like her routine has been disrupted at all. We just got a new puppy, so next time we leave town, we'll need a room for two!

I just wanted to let you know what a great job Nate did training Waldo. Before Waldo started his training he not only had some serious barking problems but other issues as well. Nate with his training program has helped Waldo to overcome these problems plus has trained him to heal, sit stay etc….
I am really pleased with what Waldo got out of the boot camp training program and would highly recommend it to anybody that is having any kind of issues with their dog.  Also, the staff was great to Waldo while he is boarding there. I would be the first to recommend the training program to anybody that would ask.

But it's a great place for your dog. Be prepared to realize that your dogs might prefer hanging out at Pet Resorts than hanging out with you!

We just got back from our month long car trip from New York to Nashville to Abilene to New Orleans and finally back home. Fenway's stay at your facility was the best by far! He was clean, smelled great and very happy when we picked him up after his stay with you folks. At the other facilities we boarded him he stunk of urine, his behavior was real jumpy, and he was so clingy for days after. It was very obvious he enjoyed his time with you and was very unhappy at the other kennels. We wish you all were closer - how about opening up a facility here in Up State NY? I'll be your first customer!

I called to make reservations to board our two dogs and was quoted a price. I booked it for a Saturday night and was told I could pick our dogs up between 1-4:30 on Sunday. When I arrived to pick them up I was then informed I needed to pay an additional half fee because it was a Sunday pick-up. This was never explained on our phone conversation - not sure I would have boarded if this had been told in advance. The service itself was fine. They were very sweet with our dogs, and they took good care of them. It is just the poor business practice - not being upfront that really upsets me.

I was able to board my two dogs together in the same kennel so they wouldn't be separated. Both of them are older rescue dogs (one 9 yrs old and one 14); I was nervous because they were never boarded before, and I had to be gone 5 days. The staff took such good care of them; they did not look stressed when I picked them up nor did they smell bad or have any smell at all. They were able to eat their own food as well. The staff was very understanding and caring!!! I definitely will use them going forward.

Cathy, the groomer at Pet Resorts of America, is one of the best in the city. Perhaps most importantly, she has a way with animals and is able to keep the most nervous dog calm and happy. She is fast, but she never cuts corners. She always consults with you to figure out exactly what you want, and if she brings your dog out and can tell you're not happy with something, she talks to you about it and if needed, takes the dog back and fixes it. Her cuts are sensational, and she takes care of the extras, too. My dog has NEVER had a knick or cut from Cathy, which is more than I can say for the groomers at a certain nationwide pet store chain (which also, by the way, charges exactly TWICE for a groom than they do at Pet Resorts). Cathy is so sensational that I followed her from her previous employer, extending my drive by 8 miles -- not a small thing when gas is near $3 a gallon! It is absolutely worth it because she's that good. Thanks, Cathy!

The dogs enjoy the indoor/outdoor kennels, and the kennel is kept very clean. The groomer does an excellent job on all breeds of dogs. Highly recommended!!!

This is the absolute best place I have taken my dogs and cats to. The staff is very caring. The kennels are large and very clean. My dogs seem to like being at Pet Resorts more than they like being at home. My cats are very skittish but seem to be very comfortable at Pet Resorts. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Our dog Cali loves going to Pet Resorts of America! The atmosphere is nice and the people are very friendly. Every time we bring her home she's tired from all the excitement she has at Pet Resorts!

We have 2 labs and we have left the dogs there 3 times. All 3 times we were on vacation for a week. We know the dogs will be well taken care of while we are away. The area is clean and the staff is really great and friendly. The dogs have a good time when they are there. They both got baths and they looked great when we picked them up last time. For anyone who has a dog this is a great place to leave your pet.

I got my dog from a shelter and I was scared to leave him in a kennel, but the staff at Pet Resorts made me and my dog feel right at home. He loved the indoor/ outdoor kennel! Everything was clean and it didn't even smell like a kennel! When I came to pick him up he was happy and healthy. He was excited to see me but I think a part of him wanted to stay!

This is the best boarding facility I have ever taken my dog to! The rooms were clean and my dog could run outside during the day in the room. Service was good and very friendly. I requested my dog to have a bath and prices were very reasonable, and they did an awesome job. My puppy Buddy had been to other places before and came back upset, but he loves this place! Highly recommended!
